Virtual Earthquakes

I love science. While looking for some information about logarithms and earthquakes for Jenny, I stubled across this awesome Virtual Earthquake Lab. It caught my attention quickly as it takes you through discovering the epicenter and the magnitude of a real historical quake. I wish we had these types of interactive labs in my high school. It seems that all I remember doing is watching NOVA specials a lot. Not that I have anything against NOVA, it is a great program, but I think learning by doing is a much better method.

I even got this cool certificate.

If you’re the slightest bit of a science buff, you should check this out. I thought it was a blast.
