Ice Climbing Demo (Lee Vining, CA)

Aaron Ice Climbing in Lee Vining, CA

So there I am climbing on a frozen waterfall for the first time in my life. I hope it’s not the last. It was amazing. We only had two days of climbing and they felt way too short, but the experience was well worth the 11-12 hours of driving. Plus seeing the east side of the Sierra Nevada mountains was enjoyable in and of itself.

I’ve got a ton more pictures that I plan to clean up and put in a gallery once I have some time. For now, I really need to get busy on some freelance projects that I’m scarily close to panic/all-nighter mode in order to make some serious progress.

I’ll try to post something after the weekend.

Looks like you had a great time. I wish I would have known. I was in Modesto (just west of Yosemite) for a week with most of Thursday with nothing to do. I probably could have at least paid you a short visit.

That would have been awesome, although we were pretty jammed for time. I wish we would have had longer time for climbing on Thursday but we had to leave early so we could get back at a reasonable hour (2:00am). :)

Hope things are going well back in Cincy.

Great pictures. I especially liked the moose in the rear view mirror. That was pretty amazing.
