What I’m up to

Since a few people have e-mailed me with questions like “You still alive?”, I thought I might post a little update.

Life is good.
Tucson is hot (and now humid with the summer monsoon storms).
Mountain biking is fun.
Flagstaff is cool(er).
Getting a home equity loan was more painless than I thought and choosing windows is a lot more painful than I hoped.
Uploading and organizing a bazillion photos is low on my priority list right now.
Work is exciting.
The “Mt. Lemonhead” smoothie at Xoom Juice is my new favorite beverage.
Gmail rocks and if I had a few hunderd dollars to spare I’d try to get a share or two of that Google IPO stock.
I get all my democratic convention news straight from the crazy engineer.
I’m seriously considering full-time school and full-time work for fall semester.
I’m still pole vaulting.
I’ve recently finished reading the following books: Coding Slave, Monkey Wrench Gang, (The Da Vinci Code and Deception Point) and I’m currently reading these ones: Defensive Design for the Web, Coder to Developer, and last but certainly not least — The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.

Here are a few photos to hold people over till I get some of the vacation galleries online.

Hope you’re all doing well too!

I have to admit I thought you fell of the planet. Good to hear things are going well with you.

Saw a TV episode on Austin's in Tucson. Have you been? Besides good comfort food, it's supposed to have good homemade ice cream, and the shakes, floats, and sundaes that go with it. Think the SweetTooth in Bellevue, or Graeter's in Cinti. Let me know what you think. We're currently under a Tornado Watch here. Monsoon season, huh! Bet you miss this!
