House Shopping in Tucson, AZ

May 17th-20th 2003

We looked at ~25 different houses while visiting Tucson, and narrowed our choice down to these three possibilities. House shopping is exhausting. Especially in record 103° temperatures.

  • 4270 E Camino de la Colina — [Our 1st Choice]
We took lots of pictures of this house (27). We saw it twice with the Realtor and we walked to it from Steve and Deb's house. This is the one we really want, if we can get everything to work out.

  • 4248 E North — [Our 2nd Choice]
This house was what we both called "quaint". It was larger in square footage than the first, but the rooms felt smaller. Looked like it was solidly built and the carport/yard was nice. We didn't take pictures inside since it was still occupied but I took six photos of the outside.

  • 4118 E Los Robles — [Our 3rd Choice]
This one was vacant, but the owner was working inside both times we went to see it. It wasn't that bad, but the first two definitely had a certain "quality" that this one lacked.
